Itäkeskuksen metroasema ja bussit ovat lyhyen kävelymatkan päässä samoin kuin kauppakeskus Itiksen monipuoliset palvelut. Vierestä sijaitsevassa kauppakeskus Eastonissa löytyy todella laajan valikoiman tarjoava K-Citymarket sekä runsaasti uusia ravintoloita. Uimarannalle on matkaa vain muutama sata metriä.
Kotiin tulee reilusti valoa sen isoista ikkunoista. Omalla aidatulla terassilla voi nautiskella kesäisin aamukahvit.
Koti on juuri peruskorjattu jolloin lattiaan on asennettu kaunis laminaatti ja seinät ovat valkoisiksi maalatut. Keittiö ja kylpyhuone ovat saaneet samalla täysin uuden ilmeen. Keittiön varustukseen kuuluu astianpesukone. Tyylikkäästi valkoisella ja harmaalla sävyllä laatoitettuun kylpyhuoneeseen saa asennettua pyykinpesukoneen. Saunan lauteet on uusittu. Lisäksi ikkunoihin on asennettu sälekaihtimet.

Itäkeskus
As its name implies, Itäkeskus (“Eastern centre”) is located in the eastern part of Helsinki. Thanks to the Itis shopping centre, the residents of Itäkeskus enjoy a vast selection of services. The area also has good transport links to other neighbourhoods of eastern Helsinki and to the city centre.
To the city centre in fifteen minutes
It takes less than 15 minutes to reach the Itäkeskus metro station from Helsinki Central Railway Station. Several bus lines run in the area, including the trunk bus line 550 that connects the area with Espoo. There is also a direct bus link to Pasila, and many of the bus lines that operate in eastern Helsinki run via Itäkeskus.

Itäkeskus has an abundance of services. Itis shopping centre features a range of shops, restaurants and cafeterias. A Finnkino cinema is also located at the shopping centre. The Stoa cultural centre and the Marjaniemi allotment garden are also located in the area. Sports and outdoors enthusiasts are likely to find themselves on one of the area’s many forest trails, at the Myllypuro sports centre or Marjaniemi beach.
