Terms of use

These terms of use contain the general terms and conditions related to the use of the websites maintained by Kojamo plc (hereinafter referred to as “Kojamo”) at lumo.fi, asukas.lumo.fi, kojamo.fi, my.lumo.fi, kampanjat.lumo.fi and email.lumo.fi as well as to the use of the services included in these websites (hereinafter “the websites and the services”). By using the websites and the services, the user agrees to adhere to these terms and conditions.

Kojamo has the right, at any time, to change the content and availability of the websites and the services or suspend the publishing of the websites and the provision of the services on these websites either temporarily or permanently. Kojamo also has the right to amend these terms of use at any time.

The Customer shall be responsible for using the Service in compliance with the law and good faith, and that the use of the Service does not pose a detriment or undue stress on the website or Kojamo. Kojamo shall have the right to immediately, and without advance notice, terminate or prevent any use of the Service that poses a detriment or undue stress on the website or Kojamo.

All material published on the websites and in the services is Kojamo’s property protected by trademark rights, copyright and/or other intellectual property rights, with the exception of services provided by third parties and potentially added to the sites, such as a map service. Kojamo reserves all rights to material published on the websites and in the services included in the websites.

Material published on the websites and in the services may be browsed and duplicated by printing or by downloading the file on the computer. However, the material may only be used for non-commercial and personal purposes. Duplicates or parts thereof may not be sold or distributed electronically or as paper copies for commercial purposes nor may they be altered or appended to any other material or websites. Press releases may be published in the media provided that the source is indicated.

The marketing materials we use for apartments include photos taken by us or sent by tenants as well as texts on the Lumo websites, social media channels and housing portals. When you send us photos and other content, you are responsible for having the right to release the content for this purpose and for ensuring that the photos are taken by you personally and that there are no identifiable individuals shown in the photos.

The websites and the services are delivered “as is”. Kojamo makes every effort to ensure that the websites and the services are available, that they can be accessed without interruption and free of errors and that their material and information are up-to-date and accurate. Nevertheless, Kojamo assumes no liability for any direct, indirect, accidental, special or consequential damages, loss of profits or interruption of business caused by the availability of the websites and the services, the interruption of or errors in use or material and information contained on the websites or in the services, even if Kojamo had been advised of the possibility of such damage or loss.

The websites and the services may contain links to websites maintained by third parties and to services on such websites (e.g. a map service). Said links are merely a service offered to the user and Kojamo assumes no liability for such sites, their content or the correctness of such content, nor for the legitimacy of the registration of personal data collected by such sites.

The user is responsible for the safeguarding and use of his/her personal user credentials that may be required by the service included in Kojamo’s websites. Kojamo assumes no liability for problems or damages arising from the user’s negligence in safeguarding their credentials or from the disclosure of the credentials to third parties. The user is obligated to pay damages to Kojamo and directly to other parties for possible misuse, as well as for his or her unlawful actions or breach of agreement.

Kojamo’s websites may include services that require the processing of personal data. Personal data is used, among other purposes, in customer relationship management, customer satisfaction or other surveys, customer communications and direct marketing. Personal data collected forms part of Kojamo’s personal data files. We also collect information related to the users’ terminal devices with the aid of cookies and other similar techniques on Kojamo’s websites. Paytrail Oyj (2122839-7), in cooperation with Finnish banks and credit institutions, acts as the payment transfer service operator and the payment service provider for Kojamo website services. Paytrail Oyj will be shown as the recipient in the invoice and Paytrail Oyj will forward the payment to the merchant. Paytrail Oyj is an authorised Payment Institution. In the case of a complaint, we ask you to primarily contact the supplier of the product.

Paytrail Oyj (2122839-7) provides online banking payment transfer services in cooperation with Finnish banks and credit institutions. For the consumer, the service works exactly the same way as traditional online payments.
