Kuokkala
Located between the lakes Jyväsjärvi and Päijänne, Kuokkala is the residential area with the largest population outside the centre of Jyväskylä.
The Kuokkala bridge enables easy access to the city centre, which is located just about two kilometres away. Kuokkala is also home to the allotment garden of Sulkuranta, with its 136 cabins located by the Jyväsjärvi lake.
