Kaivokselantie 5b is an eight-floor corridor building with 69 homes. The homes were finished in November 2018.
Residents can use a laundry room and two saunas. There are 63 parking spaces: 50 on the parking deck and 13 in the yard. Two of the yard spaces are under a carport. The parking deck spaces have heating poles. The building also has very good storage places for bicycles.
Kaivokselantie 5b is part of the new Vantaa Pumppupuisto area, which will have twelve apartment buildings. The Pumppupuisto is built on the old place of Sarlin Oy Ab factory, built in 1961. The factory made, for example, buzzers and submersible pumps.
The building is in a nice area with good basic services and outdoor possibilities. Buses go often nearby, and you can walk to Myyrmäki in about ten minutes. In Myyrmäki you can find very many services and a train station. It is also easy to travel by car, because the Tampere highway is right next to the area.

Kaivoksela
Kaivoksela is a district in West Vantaa, east of Myyrmäki, right on the border between Vantaa and Helsinki. The Kaivoksela area includes an apartment block, a business area and the small suburbs of Silvola, Vaskipelto and Kaarenmäki.
Hämeenlinnanväylä, which runs through the area, connects Kaivoksela to both the surrounding areas and to cities further away: in addition to local traffic, buses between Helsinki, Hämeenlinna and Tampere stop in Kaivoksela. The bus from Kaivoksela to Helsinki city centre takes about half an hour.
The Myyrmäki railway station is only a few kilometres away, so the train also takes you to Helsinki or the airport, for example. It is also convenient to drive your own car in the area.

The Kaivoksela apartment building area has excellent transport connections and bright Lumo homes for many different needs. Kaivoksela has a school and kindergarten, Kaivoksela shopping centre, grocery stores and several specialised shops located in the business area. In addition, Myyrmäki's diverse services, such as the Myyrmanni shopping centre and sports park, are right next door. Myyrmäki can be reached by bike in no time at all, and even on foot it takes only twenty minutes.
