Skinnarila is best known for its university campus. Both LUT University and LAB University of Applied Sciences are located here. The area is therefore particularly popular among students. One of the best things about the area are the great coastal paths, which you can jog along, even all the way to the city centre. S-market Sammonlahti is the place to go for all your everyday grocery shopping, and there are buses to the city centre if you need a wider range of services.
